Now in his tweet, the Union Health Minister, referring to the high-level meeting, wrote, “In view of the rapidly increasing corona cases in many countries of the world, a review meeting was held with officials and experts. Corona is not over yet. I Instructed everyone to be on alert and continuously work to increase surveillance. We are fully prepared to deal with any situation.”
After this meeting, Niti Aayog member VK Paul while giving information about Corona said that only 27-28% people have taken preventive dose. We appeal to others, especially senior citizens, to take precautionary measures. Precautionary dose is mandatory and prescribed for all.
According to sources, many important issues were discussed in this meeting of the central government.
In which there was talk of increasing surveillance at the most important international and domestic airports.
It was also said to strictly check the people coming from abroad and provide all kinds of facilities for the identification of new variants.
It was also emphasized in the meeting that a protocol should be prepared for the Indians who are returning from abroad to celebrate the new year. If corona-like symptoms are found, their samples should be immediately sent for genome sequencing.
Infact, a letter was written by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in which the Bharat Jodo Yatra was mentioned. Mandaviya appealed to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to consider suspending the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ if the Covid protocol cannot be followed.
In a letter to Rahul Gandhi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Mandaviya said that three MPs from Rajasthan, PP Choudhary, Nihal Chand and Devji Patel, have expressed concerns and requested them to take measures, including the use of masks and sanitisers, during the march.
The Covid protocol should be strictly followed and only those who have taken the vaccine should be allowed to participate in the march.
The Congress said that there has been a lot of ruckus on this letter of the Health Minister. The Congress has asked the government to issue an advisory regarding Corona, which will be followed in the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said that this is the fury of the government. On the other hand, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said that the government is scared of Bharat Jodo Yatra, that’s why when the yatra is over in Rajasthan, the government is talking about Covid protocol in the state.
