Today is the 237th day since India implemented a nationwide lockdown to help curb the novel coronavirus pandemic. So far, India has recorded 88,14,579 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1,29,635 deaths. A total of 82,05,728 people have recuperated from COVID-19 so far. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said the Centre would provide 750 intensive care unit (ICU) beds at the Defence Research and Development (DRDO) centre. Kejriwal further said the number of daily Covid-19 tests would be increased to over 100,000. RTPCR tests to be doubled. 300 more ICU beds to be set up at a DRDO facility, said HM Amit Shah after chairing meet on Delhi’s COVID-19 situation on sunday.
