Covid19 Surge: Tripura Govt Cancelled All Classes Of School- Colleges. TBSE Yet To Take Decision On Board Exams

As a precautionary measure against a fresh and more virulent outbreak of COVID this year the Tripura government has cancelled all classes in schools, colleges and universities indefinitely and until further order from tomorrow. As per the order passed fifty percent of the teachers in all educational institutions will attend school as per schedule to be prepared by the heads of institutions. The system of online classes introduced by the government last year will continue as usual. However, neither the government nor the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has taken any decision on holding the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary school. The notification issued by the government makes it clear that teachers in full strength will attend educational institutions on days of examinations. The decisions of the government were announced by the minister for education Ratan Lal Nath in interaction with the media. Meanwhile Education minister also writes in Social Media also. “Due to the surges in the no. of Covid cases in the state, it has been decided that from 17.04.2021 all the classes of schools, colleges and universities which are under the state government (Including private institutions) would remain closed until further order. Only the pre decided exams will be conducted as per schedule with necessary staff attendance as per requirement on exam days and on other days with 50% staff attendance, by maintaining proper social distancing and other precautionary measures.
