“Parties like CPIM, Congress and Trinamool Congress have come together to grab the power. The opposition has united with the aim of corruption sitting in ruling power. The people of the state, however, will not allow the purpose of this alliance to be fulfilled” This is what the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said while addressing the joining program in Kalyani under Banamalipur Assembly Constituency on Sunday.
Notably Banamalipur Constituency is in the hand of Congress.
CM Manik Saha on this day, spoke about various issues of development including direct rail connectivity of the state with Mumbai.
He said that people of all levels of the state are happy with these activities. So they are coming to Lotus camp. On this day 700 voters from 378 families left CPIM and Congress and joined BJP.
Local leaders including Chief Minister and State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharya welcomed them to saffron camp on this day.
Bhattacharya said that the people of Banmalipur Assembly constituency are on the side of BJP. In the future, there will be more waves of joining.
He has asked the Chief Minister for seven roads in Banmalipur area. The Chief Minister assured to provide it soon.
