‘Both CPIM and Congress confused the public earlier also’ said this Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Saha.
Reacting on the joint appeal made by left parties and congress to remove the BJP from the power of Tripura, CM Dr Saha on Wednesday also mentioned that:
” The alliance between CPIM and Congress was earlier also. There is nothing new in it. Now it has come in light. Public of Tripura being confused every time by them”
” One thing become profitable for us that people are not going to vote them. They should teach a lesson from West Bengal. They are doing wrong repeatedly. And they are doing wrong as they are not in their mind”
” There is no philosophy. It’s strange alliance! Public is not going to accept such things positively. In TTAADC Elections and in Local body elections it’s already proved. Now in the Assembly Elections also the same would repeat”.
Notably afforts are on for the opposition grand alliance to take on the BJP ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura to be held in February next year.
The Congress and the Left parties, are exploring the possibility of a grand alliance of “democratic, secular forces”, which may also include the influential Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (Tipra Motha).
