CPIM Holds Polit Bureau Meeting Virtually On Sunday

Amid covid19 pandemic Communist party of india (Marxist) continues it’s meeting virtually. On Sunday party holds polit bureau meeting virtually. Manik Sarkar also took part in this meeting virtually. This was the first polit bureau meeting after celebration of hundred years of Indian Communism, last week. On that occasion CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury told that secularism cannot be saved unless religion is kept strictly separate from politics and government. Yechury also told that forces like RSS want to bring the country towards the darkness of the past by changing its history, culture, education policy to give it a Hindu identity instead of an inclusive cultural identity of the country. Meanwhile the Communist Party of India (Marxist) politburo member Manik Sarkar has urged the party workers in Tripura to hit the roads and stand in solidarity with people who are struggling to meet their ends due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Sarkar further stressed on fighting with Communist ideology and to restore democracy by defeating the communal forces in the country. Communist ideology should not have to wait for centuries to get fulfilled but from now with full passion, the success of communism to be felt,” he added.
