CPIM Tripura State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury went to inquire about the families affected by post-election terrorism in his constituency.
On this day he visited different areas including Poangbari, Amlighat. Speaking to the affected families, he strongly condemned the incident.
Later he faced the media and said, after visiting various village panchayat areas of Srinagar area of Sabroom Assembly Constituency, it is known that after the election results came out on March 2, terror in this Assembly Constituency has come down like the whole state. Destroyed many people’s houses and destroyed land. Today these were seen on the ground and spoken to the BDO of Poangbari block. It has been demanded that the affected farmers in the area should be given assistance.
“He assured to look into the matter. And it has been observed that the workers of the ruling party are trying to sack many rubber plantation workers. This matter will be discussed with the rubber board” said Choudhury.
He also said that the people are getting ready to organize and protest against such incidents of the miscreants of the ruling party.
