It was informed by NTA that due to technical snag, the CUET UG 2022 examination has been postponed at some examination centers in 17 states.

Earlier the CUET UG exam which was going to run from 04 August to 06 August 2022 in Kerala has been postponed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the CUET UG 2022 exam has been postponed for these three days due to heavy rains. The exam will now be held later.

The NTA said that the ground level reports were sought from the supervisors/city coordinators.

Based on their recommendations, the second shift examination scheduled for Shift-2 of August 04, 2022 i.e. from 03 PM to 06 PM has been canceled and will now be conducted from August 12 to 14, 2022.

Along with this, NTA said that the same admit card will be valid for the candidates concerned. In case the date from 12th to 14th August is not suitable for anyone, candidates may send an e-mail to [email protected] mentioning their desired date and roll number.

However, in other centers the second stage examinations of CUET UG 2022 will continue to be conducted as per their schedule. There is no change in the exam schedule for candidates from other states.

The National Testing Agency said in an official notification that due to technical snag, heavy rains and floods in many areas, it may become difficult for students to travel to the examination centres.

Hence, NTA has decided to postpone the exam to ensure the safety of the candidates. So that the students do not face any problem in appearing in the CUET UG 2022 exam.

Giving information about the decision of postponement in the official notification, the National Testing Agency said that this step has been taken in the interest of the students.

The decision to postpone CUET UG-2022 has been taken only for those candidates who were to appear in the examination on August 5 and 6 in four cities in the state of Kerala.
