However, due to this natural calamity, the farmers whose crops have been destroyed will be compensated according to the rules of the state government, the Chief Minister of the state, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, said in a notification on his social media .
Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath has also directed the officials of the department to extend hand of cooperation to the affected farmers.
