Deadly Bomb Blast In Pakistan. 40 Deaths, 200 Injured

Terrorist incidents in Pakistan are not taking the name of decreasing. The latest case is related to Bajaur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan, where 45 people have died so far in the horrific explosion on Sunday. 

According to Pakistani media The Dawn, about 200 people are injured in the bomb blast. The condition of many of them remains critical, due to which the death toll may increase. 

At the same time, according to the report of Geo News, the conference of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) workers has been targeted. 

According to the police, the terrorists carried out the blast targeting the JUI-F meeting. Relief and rescue work is going on at the accident site. At the same time, the injured are being taken to the hospital from the spot.

Videos and pictures after the blast are being shared on social media. In which the tragedy after the bomb blast can be seen. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the whole area. 

Senior JUIF leader Hafiz Hamdullah while talking to Pakistani news channel has appealed to the government to ensure emergency medical measures for the injured. 

Geo News quoted the District Emergency Officer as saying that a local JUI-F leader was also among those killed in the blast at the workers’ conference in Khar, Bajaur. 

The deceased leader has been identified as Ziaullah Jan. The official said that the injured are being sent to Timargara and Peshawar for treatment.

According to the report, the police have not yet confirmed how the explosion took place. The police is still investigating the matter.

 The blast reportedly took place inside the conference and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area. 

Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Faizi has told Geo News that with the help of 5 ambulances, about 150 injured people have been taken to the hospital so far. 

A total of 150 people are injured. He expressed apprehension that the death toll may still increase.
