Debolina Roy- The First Woman Loco Pilot Of Tripura

Women are earning name and proving them in every field. Earlier when the career of loco pilot was usually belongs to men only, but now women are also making a career in this field.

Debolina Roy of Tripura has set one such example. Debolina Roy has become the first woman loco pilot of Tripura. Now Devoleena Roy will drive the train. 

Debolina Roy, a resident of Ramnagar, Agartala, has been appointed as Assistant Loco Pilot by the Electrical Department of Indian Railways. 

Debolina completed her Diploma in Electrical Engineering from TIT, Agartala after studying at Don Bosco School, Agartala. 

She then completed her graduation with Electrical Engineering from GMIT Kolkata in 2017. With this, she started preparing for competitive exams for various government jobs.

Talking about this, Debolina said that Indian Railways is a very good place to make a career. 

She said that you can achieve a lot of success in your career in Indian Railways. That’s why she chose this profession. 

She said that girls should be shown that they can walk shoulder to shoulder with boys. 

Sh has appealed to the girls of the society that everyone should work to fulfill their dreams for their bright future. 

Let us tell you that, before this Surekha Yadav had created a new history by running Vande Bharat Express. Surekha Yadav is the first woman loco pilot of Asia. 

Surekha Yadav drove the Solapur-CSMT Vande Bharat Express train on March 13 and with this she also became the first woman loco pilot to run the Vande Bharat Express.
