On November 11 (Saturday), on the 7th Deepotsav, 24 lakh lamps were lit at 51 ghats on the banks of river Saryu. A Guinness World Record was created for lighting 22 lakh 23 thousand lamps.
Maharishi Valmiki’s story of Ram was narrated through holographic light. The laser show was followed by fireworks for 23 minutes. Green crackers worth Rs 84 lakh were burnt.
There was great enthusiasm among the people in Ayodhya city during the festival of lights. People participated in this festival by lighting lamps amidst laser lights.
Thousands of youth participated in this grand festival of lights and lit lamps. On this occasion, the whole city rejoiced with Ram with devotional songs.

On the grand occasion of Deepotsav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached Ayodhya, he congratulated the people of Ayodhya on the Deepotsav. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that we are seeing a new Ayodhya being built.
Due to millions of lamps and laser lights burning on the banks of Saryu, the water of the river was also seen colored in different colors.
The lamps burning on the banks of river Saryu were spreading a supernatural glow. As the evening was setting, the view of Ayodhya city was becoming more beautiful. This grand ceremony also broke the records of the previous Deepostva Mahotsav.
