Despite NIA Raid Infiltration Continue: 14 Bangladeshi Arrested From Sabroom

Recently, the NIA team nabbed twenty one human traffickers from Tripura and took them to Delhi in a raid keeping the state intelligence and police asleep.

And after the operation BSF jawans became active.

For the past few months, Tripura has become a corridor for human trafficking.

In the last few days, the NIA team has arrested many Rohingyas in various places across the country.

After the NIA operation, the BSF became active. BSF arrested 14 Bangladeshis from Vaishnabpur in Sabroom under South Tripura on Sunday morning.

Some of the detained Bangladeshis were reportedly planning to travel to Delhi by train.

The detained Bangladeshis are currently being interrogated at the Sabroom police station.

However, the National Investigation Team believes that Tripura has become a corridor of human trafficking by exploiting the failure of the state’s intelligence wing.

Meanwhile, it is known that Kraisu Mog, Athubhai Mog and Khoka Tripura are involved in illegally bringing the arrested 14 Bangladeshi citizens to the state.

They are the local residents of Baishnabpur border area. These three human traffickers have been arrested by the police of Sabroom police station.

Several others are said to be involved with them. Among the detained Bangladeshi nationals are several children.

The OC of Sabroom police station said that among the 14 Bangladeshi nationals, 4 are children. Along with the arrest of Bangladeshi citizens, three human traffickers have been arrested. Two of the three are women. Two others are absconding. Legal action will be taken against the traffickers caught.

He said that efforts are being made to arrest the remaining two fugitives. The police conducted preliminary interrogation of the arrested Bangladeshi nationals and found out that the arrested had come to the state with the intention of going to Delhi.

Not only the Sabroom border but also several other border areas of the state including Sonamura, illegal infiltration is going on every time.

And these border areas are used for human trafficking in different parts of the country, it has already come up in the investigation of the Central Investigation Agency. Which is a matter of concern.
