Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha inaugurated the 36th Annual Conference of Obstetrics and Gynecological Society in Agartala.
Speaking in the program he said:
“The government has given priority to providing better medical services in the district hospitals of the state and improving the infrastructure of the health centres. The main objective of the government is to provide the best services in the field of health to the people of the state”
“Earlier, the government had to make demands on various issues. Now before the claim can be made, the promotion of doctors and Tripura Health Service Rules have been amended”
“The ‘specialists’ performed their duties with great fear during the Covid. Doctors should try to deal with the problems of patients. Doctors are like God to patients.”
On the other hand Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha urged dentists to work with sense of responsibility for people on National Dentist Day.
The Chief Minister inaugurated a program organized to celebrate the National Dentist Day at Agartala Press Club Auditorium on Saturday.
In the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister said that the dentists of the state are doing good work. Just as good deeds can be praised, detractors also criticize.
Regarding the establishment of dental colleges in the state, the Chief Minister said, I want to do something that will be remembered by the next generation. I established the college as a responsibility. I did not work for praise. The Chief Minister said, we know our history, we also know the present, so we want to do something for the future.
