Tripura Court ordered to send the two students who are accused of being involved in the drug trade to jail for fourteen days.
The two arrested are residents of Kuchainala village in the Kamalpur subdivision under Dhalai District.
It is to be noted that the police got the names of four-five students of this subdivision from a drug dealer arrested in Khowai recently.
In the investigation, the name of the son of a mandal leader of BJP came up with four others. The drama starts from 22 September.
On September 23, the Mandal leader handed over the four students to the Kamalpur police station. In a written FIR, he said that his minor son was misled by others.
Not only that, from his account on September 20, Rs thirty thousand, and then on September 22, another student sent another Rs thirty five thousand to the drug dealer arrested in Khowai.
Police arrested (Case No-95/2023) two students of Kuchainala on this complaint, acquitted two others as they are minors.
Police registered the case under Section 420/506 of IPC. The two arrested persons are sent to jail by the court .
Meanwhile, the question has arisen in the court premises that if the money is deposited in the account of a drug dealer, he is arrested again, in that case how is the case under section 420? Questions are everywhere now.
