Brown sugar worth Rs crores recovered from
Deoghar Express.
Two persons were arrested as well.
Incident happened on Wednesday at Teliamura
Trishabari railway station area.
According to the report Police of Dharmnagar Police Station had news that two youths of the state are coming to the state with lots of brown sugar through Deoghar Express.
Based on this news, a group of 12 people under the
leadership of Dharmnagar Police Station was in
trouble overnight at the Dharmnagar railway station since Tuesday night.
Police chased 2 youths named Suman Debbarma and Indio Chengma from Takarjala and Teliamura Hawaibari area in suspicious condition as soon as the Deoghar Express entered Teliamura station on Wednesday.
The two young men tried to escape. With the help of GRP , the police of Dharmnagar police were able to rescue 99 packets of brown sugar by detaining them.
