Two people died after being hit by a speeding dumper vehicle. Another person has been injured.
On Wednesday night, local people in South Pulinpur area under Teliamura police station informed the fire brigade.
The fire brigade rescued them and took them to Teliamura hospital where two of the injured died.
The other person’s condition was critical and shifted to GBP Hospital.
It is known that three people named Shakti Das, Sanjay Das and Tinku Sarkar were talking on the side of the road while standing E-Rickshaw on the side of Assam Agartala National Highway.
All of a sudden, the dumper truck came at high speed like the storm and hit the E-Rickshaw hardly from behind.
Hearing the loud noise, the nearby people came and saw that the tomtom had overturned. 3 people were lying in a bloody condition.
It is also known that out of the three injured Shakti Das, Sanjay Das was declared dead by the doctor.
At present the injured Tinku Sarkar is undergoing treatment at GBP Hospital.
