Tripura Pradesh Congress President Birjit Sinha said in a press conference in Kailashahar of Unkoti district on Wednesday.
Speaking in the press conference he said:
“The election campaign of Congress is officially starting on December 28 in Kailashahar. For this, extensive preparations are being made by the party”
“Congress workers will start their official election campaign on December 28 at Unkoti Kalakshetra . Dr. Ajay Kumar (Tripura in-charge), Szarita Laitphlang, MLA Sudip Roy Barman and prominent Congress functionaries will be present in the campaign”.
“The main aim of the Congress party is to defeat the ruling party at any cost in this election. In this case, the Congress is ready to take any political plan including formation of coalition”
On this day, Sinha strongly criticized the work of the current BJP-IPFT coalition government and said that they have no right to seek votes from the people.
He expressed the firm belief that the people of the state will form a new government based on their bitter experience and defeat the BJP IPFT coalition government.
