The Government of Tripura prepared to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his one day visit on Sunday.
According to the report 50 to 70 thousand public to atten in the rally to be addressed by PM at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala.
BJP also gears up regarding the visit of Prime Minister Modi and holding door to door campaign.
Meanwhile on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit on December 18, a ban has been imposed on the road from MBB Airport to Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala from 11 am to 6 pm.
District Magistrate of West Tripura district Debapriya Bardhan said in a notification that alternative roads have been arranged for vehicles engaged in emergency services.
Alternative roads are a) Narsing Garh Ramnagar – Gandhigram Bazar – Shalbagan – Rubberboard – Chanmari – GB – – ILS. b) GB – Indranagar – Dhaleshwar Math Choumuhani Yogendranagar – Bypass. c) – Edingar – Battala – Fire Service – Ker Choumuhani – Shankar Choumuhani – Barajala – Bholagiri ILS – GB. d) GB – ILS – SDO Choumuhani – Nandannagar – Vanik Choumuhani – Khairpur.
A large number of people will attend the Prime Minister’s rally at Vivekananda Maidan.
For this reason some restrictions have been imposed on the movement of vehicles in different places of Agartala.
The places are – Near ST Corporation towards Lake Chowmuhani, Sachin Bridge towards Lake Chowmuhani, Bodhjung Chowmuhani towards North Gate, Bodhjung Chowmuhani towards Bhuturia, Katakhal to Sachin Bridge, Cantonment Road to Buddha Mandir, Abhaynagar Post Office to Buddha Mandir.
In the notification, the District Magistrate said that the vehicles that will come from South Tripura, Gomati and Sipahijala districts are Nagarjala Stand (LMVS / Bus), Gandhighat, Road West Side (LMVS / Bus), Umakant Maidan (LMVS / Bus), Dhalai, Unkoti District and North Tripura.
Vehicles coming to the district and from Teliyamura, Jirania, Ranirbazar will stop at ISBT Chandrapur (LMVS / Bus), Old Central Jail to Ashram Chaumuhani Road South (LMVS) Khudiram Bose English Medium School Ground (LMVS).
Vehicles coming from Khowai district and northern part of Sadar will halt at Radha Nagar (LMVS), Nehru Park (bus), Sidhai Crossing and Hindi School ground if required.
Vehicles coming from Jogendranagar railway station will stop at Gandhi School and Khudiram Bose School grounds from Modern Club.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala on December 18, a no-fly zone-red zone has been declared from 6 am to 8 pm for the safety of the people.
District Magistrate West Tripura, Debapriya Vardhan, said in an order that drones, unmanned aerial vehicles and any type of manually controlled or automated flying objects cannot be flown in an area up to 3 km from Swami Vivekananda Maidan during the specified time on December 18
