AIKSCC Tripura organized a massive Rajbhavan Abhiyan on Saturday protesting farm laws. Thousand of activists took part in that Abhiyan rally. Different farmers organizations including , CITU, CPIM activists, students and youths were the part of the rally. They urged the Central government to ensure remunerative price for farm produce as per the formula suggested by agriculture scientist M.S. Swaminathan and increase the quantum of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Yojana benefits to at least ₹18,000 taking into consideration the rising input cost. “Unless the farm laws are repealed, there is no scope to discuss pro-farmer changes in mandis and farm processes, the AIKSCC said, adding that the government should not be rigid and indulge in semantics as all processes are in its hands” Said AIKSCC.
