The All India Kisan Sabhaa (AIKS), Tripura unit have described the violence in Delhi on republic day and storming of the Red Fort as a ‘conspiracy’ of BJP to give a bad name to the farmers movement for withdrawal of the three farm bills. Speaking to media former MLA and AIKS leader Pabitra Kar who led Tripura’s delegation to the farmers movement in Punjab , Haryana and part of Uttar Pradesh said that the movement was peaceful all along and it was only the conspiracy of BJP and its front organization the ‘Kishan Shramik Morcha’ that derailed the movement for the purpose of subversion.
“I was around 8-00 AM when we went miles that the Tikkri border started. From Tikkri border to Rohtak the roads were full of tractors and people were so enthusiastic about the republic day parade that it seemed amazing. This united protest is an inspiration , the way they have protested unitedly” said Pabitra Kar. For the republic day violence and storming of the Red For Pabitra Kar blamed the BJP-affiliated Kishan Shramik Morcha that acted beyond the plan and entered through an ,unpermitted route. “This was a deliberate provocation to discredit the farmers movement” said Pabitra.
He said that people know how so many people broke through the cordon and stormed Red Fort in front of the eyes of the police . “The nation knows how the main face behind the incident is close to many BJP leaders but the movement will continue peacefully until the three anti-farmer bills are withdrawn.
