Former Tripura Pradesh Congress Secretary Baptu Chakraborty Joins Trinamool Congress

Baptu Chakraborty officially joined the Trinamool Congress on Wednesday. Chakraborty, the former deputy secretary of the Tripura Pradesh Congress, joined the Trinamool Congress with more than 500 families from the Khayerpur Assembly Constituency.

A meeting was held in a private hotel of Radhanagar. The meeting was held inside the hotel not to violate the section 144.  Trinamool Congress MP Shantanu Sen and Trinamool Congress all-India leader Sushmita Dev welcomed them by handing over the Trinamool flag.

Later, Baptu said, he joined the Trinamool Congress with more than five hundred families. The turnout would supposed to be higher, but as the administration did not allowed the Rabindra Bhavan building, this joining program was held with the voters of Khayerpur Assembly constituency in a private hotel.

But this is not the end. After the upcoming festival, a big rally will be held at Swami Vivekananda Maidan under the leadership of party supremo Mamata Banerjee and All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee.

Baptu Chakraborty warned that the Trinamool Congress would be able to show its strength in the state of Tripura by next December. He also said that the Congress and the Trinamool Congress have one thing in common.

However, he expressed satisfaction that he had been working in the Congress for a long time and said that the Congress has done what it has said. But for 42 long months, the people of the state have been dissatisfied with the work of the BJP-IPFT coalition government.

Because the government has not kept its promises. People’s hopes and aspirations have not been fulfilled. The people of the state are now just waiting for the time to say goodbye to the BJP. Bengalis want to see Mamata Banerjee as the Prime Minister.

In the next Lok Sabha election, Mamata Banerjee’s dream of becoming the Prime Minister will come true. Meanwhile, All India Trinamool Congress leader Sushmita Dev questioned that the Chief Minister had dinner with a large number of activists and supporters at a private hotel in Agartala on Tuesday.

Then section 144 is not violated? Or is section 144 just for the opposition and Abhishek Banerjee? So this Narendra Modi’s model will not work anymore. In the last elections in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has shown how to break Narendra Modi’s model and get elected.

Now Mamata Banerjee’s government will show it in Tripura too. The people of the state are determined to establish a government of development. That is why people are responding to the Trinamool Congress with enthusiasm, said MP Shantanu Sen.

He said there was excitement among the people of the state over Abhishek Banerjee’s rally on Wednesday. If he wanted, the Trinamool Congress could have broken the law by with the enthusiasm of the people.

But the Trinamool Congress obeys the law. So the law was not violated. However, he said that Abhishek Banerjee’s program will be held in the state in the coming days.

Trinamool Congress was joined by Congress vice-president Bapi Bhowmik, Youth Congress vice-president Amit Kumar Saha, Khayerpur Block Congress president Haripada Ghosh, district Congress vice-president Amrit Dey and other leaders.
