Four Bangladeshi nationals arrested from a house of Hrishyamukh block under South Tripura District on Friday late night.
The owner of the house Asish Majumdar has also been arrested. In a joint operation of Border Secue Force and Hrishyamukh Police, these four Bangladeshi were detained from the house of Ashish Majumdar and after interrogation, it is found that they did not have any valid documents.
After bringing the house owner Ashish along with four Bangladeshis to Matai BOP, the four Bangladeshis were handed over to the Hrishyamukh police outpost at night.
The four people arrested from Matai police outpost at around 10:30 am on Saturday along with the owner of the house Ashish Majumder.
After this, the police have registered a case against these four people belongs from Bangladesh.
Police applied for three days remand of four Bangladeshi and Ashish Majumdar, the co-owner of the house in Bangladesh, to the court.
It is known that these four Bangladeshi entered illegally through the barbed wire border. They came to India from Bangladesh to go to Surat in Gujarat.
However, it is not known why these Bangladeshis will go to Surat, Gujarat.
The Police administration thinks that all the information can come out if the police remand for three days.
