Bangladesh and India signed 3 Memorandam of Understanding (MoU) last Friday after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina just ahead of G-20 summit.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen gave this information during a press briefing in Delhi.
The MoUs are
1. Memorandum of Understanding between Bangladesh Council of Agricultural Research and Indian Council of Agricultural Research on Cooperation in Agricultural Research and Education. Under this MoU, cooperation between the two countries in the field of agricultural research and training will be strengthened.
2. Cultural Exchange Program for 2023-25.
Under this, various measures and programs will be undertaken to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of art, literature and culture.
3. A Memorandum of Understanding between NPCI International Payments Limited of India and Bangladesh Bank (BB). This MoU will facilitate mutual transactions between the two countries.
