“Students and youths should remember that they have to do something for this country. And the culture of this country should not be lost. We have to move forward in that direction”
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while addressing the youth festival organized at Nazrul Kalakshetra, Agartala on Wednesday.
Speaking in the program , the Chief Minister also said that:
Earlier one had to go outside the state for higher education. Now there is no need to go abroad for higher education. Tripura has two medical colleges, law university, dental college, nursing college and many other opportunities. Tripura is becoming a hub in the field of education”
” National highways have become six, four more are on the way. And many company owners now come to Tripura to invest here.”
Chief Minister said that there is peace and harmony in this state. Referring to various tourist centers including Chabimura, Narikel Kunja Melaghar, Unakoti, the Chief Minister said that the state’s tourist centers have been developed. Tourists from abroad now come to Tripura to visit the tourist spots.
” So overall it can be said that Tripura is developing at a very fast pace. Youth society should be proud of this” He said.
In the organized function, the Chief Minister expressed concern about addiction and said that the generation is being wasted due to addiction.
“Therefore, those who are involved in such addiction should be identified and appropriate action should be taken”, said the Chief Minister.
