Complaints have been raising from the patient’s family about the health services of GBP Hospital for the past few months.
Despite being a major referral hospital, some doctors and health workers of the hospital have lost their sense of responsibility.
As a result poor health services are there in hospitals.
The newly appointed Governor of the state Indra Sena Reddy Nallu has come to know about this after taking charge recently.
So he went to check the services of GBP, the main referral hospital of the state, for the first time after taking charge as Governor of Tripura on Thursday.
This is his first visit to GBP Hospital after assuming charge as Governor of Tripura. He was welcomed in GBP by the secretary of the health department. Sandeep Rathore. Principal Dr. Sanjib Debbarma, Dr. Shankar Chakraborty and others were present.
Talked to the hospital authorities. Find out what services are offered on the wards.
Governor Indrasen Reddy Nallu also looked into the infrastructural aspect. He left GBP after visiting each ward. However, he did not want to say anything about this visit.
