Govt Emphasized On The Development Of Health Service: CM Manik Saha

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the blood donation camp organized by health workers at AGMC and GBP Hospitals.

Health workers at AGMC and GBP hospitals along with students of AGMC also donated blood in blood donation camp on this day.

Speaking in the camp he said to the Health workers:

If district hospitals are strengthened, it will be possible to reduce the pressure on GB hospitals. Money is no problem. Need willingness to work. You have to work with time. 

The Chief Minister also said that sometimes the family members of the patients attack the doctors and health workers. Doctors are needed for both birth and death. So this kind of incident is not desirable. Still, many times the situation reaches such a point that such incidents takes place. The present state government has emphasized on the development of health service . Everyone should be covered under health insurance.

“For that, a scheme called Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana has been announced in this year’s budget. Officials of the department have been directed to implement this scheme” he said.

” Science has improved, but it has not been possible to make blood. If blood could be created, one man would not care about another man. There are various donations, but there is no other donation like blood donation. There can be no more religion than human religion. Blood has no religion” said the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister also Inaugurated a blood donation camp in Sekerkot HS School.

The blood donation camp was organized on the occasion of 75th year completion of the school.
