Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the program at Pragna Bhaban organized on the occasion of 5 years of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and 2 years of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Speaking in the program CM Dr Manik Saha said:
Direction has been given to issue cards of the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana scheme to the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Officials have started working accordingly. The government is thinking of setting up homeopathic and ayurvedic medical colleges in the state.
“Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat scheme is practiced all over the world. After implementing the project, the Prime Minister reviews the progress of the project time to time. Ayushman Bhava program started from September 17. This program will continue till October 2. Ayushman at your doorstep, Ayushman Mela and Ayushman Sabha programs have been undertaken. Work is going on for that purpose”.
“Dental colleges have already started in the state. So far 50 students have taken admition in the dental college.”
“College of Nursing has been started in IGM Hospital. Revie of what has been done recently to improve the health system has been done. Efforts are underway to improve services at district hospitals to reduce patient pressure at GBP hospital”
Investors from outside the state are coming to the state. They want to have a medical college in the state. The development of any place requires development of communication system first. Prime Minister gave HIRA model to Tripura state. As a result of the Act East policy, the state has seen massive development. As a result investors from outside the state are looking to come to the state”
