Amidst growing fatalities due to Covid19 infection, Chief Minister Biplab Kr Deb had attended a high level meeting with health experts and officials yesterday containing the growing death rate due ti Covid19. The Chief Minister has seriously expressed his concern over the daily growing death rate which are mostly coming from GB, TMC & ILS Hospitals. Though the high number of deaths are being reported from the critical and patient with comorbidities, but CM has stressed on proper analysis on every Covid death to find out the reasons for their untimely demise. During the meeting a detailed discussion was also held over the alleged lapses on monitoring critical Covid Patients and the CM urged their doctors to evaluate the reason for deaths and emphasized on proper monitoring. CM also strictly instructed all incharges of health institutions to maintain all treatment guidelines framed by the Union Health Ministry and strictly warned that lapses during treatment will not be acceptable. However health experts stated that due to peak hours of Virus the casualties are increasing and suggested timely testing and treatment among all susceptible persons after development of mild Covid symptoms. Based on the media reports, the CM urges the doctors that all kind of medicines are available in health institutions than why patient parties have to procure medicine from markets and requested doctors to stop such kind of practice in hospitals. Finally the CM requested health experts to formulate measures to contain the high death rate among Covid positive patents.
