Speaking in detail, a member of the association said that Sagar Debbarma (16), a player from Dhumachhara area of the state, was taken to Madurai in Chennai by Olympic Association Secretary Rupak Deb Roy in exchange of Rs 13 thousand to play pro kabaddi.
But when Sagar went there, he found that secretary Rupak giving the chance the players from outside the state with the name of Tripura players.
After protesting this incident, Sagar was finally not allowed to play. Since then, Secretary Rupak has been abusing him physically and mentally.

Later police rushed to the spot. The police entered the house without finding Rupak and conducted a search. His wife said he is not in the state. However, the police said they will continue to investigate the incident through legal means.
