Speaking in detail, a member of the association said that Sagar Debbarma (16), a player from Dhumachhara area of the state, was taken to Madurai in Chennai by Olympic Association Secretary Rupak Deb Roy in exchange of Rs 13 thousand to play pro kabaddi.
But when Sagar went there, he found that secretary Rupak giving the chance the players from outside the state with the name of Tripura players.
After protesting this incident, Sagar was finally not allowed to play. Since then, Secretary Rupak has been abusing him physically and mentally.
