Parliament monsoon session commencing from monday. Will conclude on 1st October. May be this is the most safest session in Parliamentary history. Why? Because in this season there will be no question hours. No business. No private members bills. According to the sources Parliament is likely to take up issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the state of the economy and other developments that will be brought before the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) and agreed upon. Parliament will also take up as many as 11 ordinances that were passed between March and September. Opposition already allegeting BJP of using the Covid-19 pandemic as an excuse to cancel the Question Hour in the monsoon session of Parliament to “hide its failures” on multiple fronts. Anyway, overall this session is going to be only a ‘rubber stamp’ session, thats clear.
