The ‘Heartland Tripura’ project has been inaugurated in Tripura. The inauguration ceremony of this project, implemented by Deloitte India and NIELIT Agartala was held at Rabindra Bhavan.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship, electronics and information technology, on Thursday inaugurated Heartland Tripura, a project to impart skill development training to the youth, and said it would attract investments and create jobs.
Chandrasekhar said that Modi had adopted a three-step strategy—bridging the gaps of physical, digital and talent connectivity. “This kind of model is what Modi-ji is encouraging—industry, the Government of India and the state government start working together to create a partnership model with one company, and other companies will follow as well,” he said
Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik was present on the occasion. She said that the boys and girls of the state are very talented. Their long-held dream to harness this talent is to be implemented in the state by Deloitte India and NIELIT Agartala. The seed of fulfilling that dream has been created today.
Therefore, Union State Minister Pratima Bhowmik claimed that today is a historical moment.
SHe said, Deloitte is a 175-year-old company. This company is present in 145 countries. The children of the state will work abroad and make Tripura proud in India. The Union Minister of State also hoped to build their own future and protect their families. She also said that gradually this company will be set up in other North Eastern states after Tripura.
She also said that more than three hundred and fifty youths of the state will be employed in this company from Tripura by next June. And their salary will be Rs six lakh per year, said the Union Minister of State.
Union Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Electronics and Technology Rajib Chandra Shekhar, Minister Santana Chakma and others were also present on the occasion.
