Tripura government has decided to close all government and government-aided schools in the state from April 18 to April 23 due to the threat of excessive heat wave across the state.
Besides, the authorities of all the private schools in the state have also been requested to close the schools during this time.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha announced this by posting on social media after a meeting with officials of the Education Department on Monday.
