Government of Himachal Pradsh on Friday declared whole state as ” natural calamity affected area” on Friday.
Earlier on Friday Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the government is going to declare “state disaster” today.
Its notification will be issued in the evening. So far, a loss of about Rs 10,000 crore has been incurred in the state.
Officers are working day and night to help the families of the victims. Army’s help is also being taken.
Flood affected people have been rescued in Indora of Kangra. The first installment of interim relief is needed from the central government. It is the responsibility of the government to help those whose houses have been destroyed.
The central team has also come to the state to take stock of the damage.
CM Sukhu said that such a big disaster has come in the state but all the four MPs are doing politics even in the disaster.
“In the Parliament session, the MPs of the state did not even ask the government in the House that when and how much relief amount is being given to the state. The four MPs did not even go to meet PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to issue interim relief to Himachal soon” said CM.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda themselves came forward to help and asked about the loss in the state” he said.
The four MPs are only enjoying the pleasures of power. They doesn’t care about the people who elected them, added CM.
Notably death toll due to flood in Himachal Pradesh increased to 75.
