Imran Khan Faces Arrest. Protests Break Out In Pakistan

There has been an uproar in Pakistan over the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. 

Armored police vehicles arrives outside the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in Lahore. 

Meanwhile, a senior police official in Islamabad said that the police have reached there with the intention of arresting him. PTI workers gathering outside Imran Khan’s residence.

Let us tell you that earlier, an Islamabad court on Tuesday stayed till March 16 the non-bailable arrest warrant issued against the former Prime Minister of Pakistan for threatening a woman magistrate while addressing a public meeting here last year. 

A non-bailable arrest warrant was issued on Monday for using threatening language against Additional District and Sessions Judge Jeba Chowdhury and Islamabad police officials.

Let us tell you that a day after a non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against Imran Khan in Pakistan’s famous Toshakhana case, the police reached his house. 

Police have blocked all the roads leading to the house of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party chairman. 

A large number of police forces are deployed. Imran’s supporters have also gathered outside the residence in large numbers. protesting the police action. 

Police has also used water canon on them. On the other hand, on his arrest, Imran Khan said that the police have come to arrest me. I am fighting the people’s war. Even if something happens to me, this war is not going to stop. 

Imran has said this by releasing a video of one minute and 12 seconds. 

He said that the police think that if they arrest me, the community will fall asleep. Now it is the responsibility of the community that how to teach them a lesson.
