A good news for all the candidates having 10th, 12th or graduation degree. Indian Postal Department has issued notification for recruitment to 1899 posts.
The online application process for this recruitment has started from 10 November 2023 on the official website. The last date to apply for the posts is 9 December 2023.
Candidates who want to apply for this recruitment must check all the criteria mentioned in the notification once. Candidates who want to apply for these various posts can apply through the official website of DOPS Sports Recruitment dopsportsrecruitment.cept.gov .
Under the India Post recruitment drive, 1899 posts will be filled, out of which 598 posts are for Postal Assistant, 143 posts for Sorting Assistant, 585 posts for Postman, 3 posts for Mail Guard and 570 posts for MTS.

Eligibility Criteria
For the posts of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant:
Must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.
Must have knowledge of working on computers.
For the posts of Postman/Mail Guard:
12th class pass from a recognized board.
Must have passed 10th class and know the local language.
Knowledge of working on computer.
Valid license to drive two-wheeler or light motor vehicle (only for the post of Postman). Persons with benchmark disability are exempted from holding a license.
For Multi Tasking Staff posts:
- Must have passed 10th class from a recognized board.
sporting ability
Players who have represented any state or country in national or international competition in any sports/sports.
Players who have represented their university in inter university tournaments organized by the Inter University Sports Board in any sport.
Players who have represented State School Teams in National Games/Games organized for schools by All India School Sports Federation in any game/sports.
Players who have been awarded the National Award in Physical Efficiency Under the National Physical Efficiency Drive
Application Fee
The application fee for these posts is Rs 100. Women candidates, transgender candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) are exempted from payment of fee. Fee can be paid online through UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card etc.
