In the upcoming academic session of 2021-22 integrated B.Ed course would be introduced in four general degree colleges. Last year the state government had written a latter to the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE for allowing for opening Integrated Teacher’s Education Program ITEP in four general degree colleges in Tripura. Recently NCTE gave permission to open integrated B.Ed course in one college i.e Bir Bikram Memorial College. But the government persuade them to give permission for all the four colleges. Henceforth the NCTE gave permission for three colleges in written form to the state government. Those are Women’s College, BBM College in Agartala, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar College in Belonia. Veey soon the council also to give permission as written document for Dharmanagar Degree College also, said education minister.
