Due to disagreements, IPFT nominates candidate to contest against alliance partner BJP in the upcoming Tripura Assembly Elections.
Ruling BJP party announced candidate for 41 Ampinagar Assembly constituency.
Now IPFT announced candidates for the same seat on Sunday.
The announcement of the IPFT candidate for this seat created a problem with the alliance.
IPFT held a press conference at Kumari Tila, Agartala at party leader Pramod Riang’s house oņ Sunday evening.
General Secretary of the party Shuklacharan Nowatia announced the name of the candidate.
According to the alliance and seat sharing agreement with BJP , earlier the IPFT announced the candidates list for 5 Assembly Constituencies.
This time they nominated another candidate for one more seat.
Sindhu Charan Jamatia will contest as IPFT candidate in 41 Ampinagar constituency.
Although BJP nominated party Secretary Patal Kanya Jamatiya in this seat.
Alliance partner IPFT is contesting in total of 6 seats due to fielding candidates in one new seat.
