Just 24 hours before the inauguration of the first dental college in Tripura, MLA Sudip Roy Barman made serious allegations.
“The state government is going to inaugurate this dental college illegally” mentioning this MLA Sudip Roy Barman wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary Dr. JK Sinha .
He said the government is going to inaugurate this college by violating the rules of National Medical College.
“Nine faculty professors of Agartala Government Medical College are being brought for theory and practical classes in Dental College. It is completely illegal activity of the government” Sudip Roy Barman mentioned.
He also mentioned in the letter that the professors and faculty of Agartala Government Medical College cannot be used in the work of any other college. Because if the professor of Agartala Government Medical College performs duties for the interest of another college, the future of the students of Agartala Government Medical College will be endangered even if the interests of that college are protected. Hundreds of students are studying in Agartala Medical College.
Therefore, he expressed the opinion that it is necessary for the government to realize this matter and appoint professors and other staff for the Tripura Dental College. So that there is no impact on Agartala Government Medical College.
