“Jan Arogya Yojana” To Be Launch Shortly: CM Manik Saha

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the blood donation camp organized by the Old National Club at Litchi Bagan on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the club and “Nectar Festival of Freedom” Meri Mati Mera Desh.

Speaking in the blood donation camp CM Saha said:

“The state government is going to launch the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. For this project, the government has allocated Rs 59 crore in the budget for the financial year 2023-24”

“Therefore, the officials of the concerned department have been instructed to start this project quickly”

The Chief Minister also said that fund for 100 sub-health centers have been allocated in the budget of the current financial year.

Speaking at the blood donation camp, the Chief Minister also said that the number of blood donors is more than blood recipients. 40 thousand units of blood are required to be stored for 4 million people in the state. For this it is a moral duty to donate blood. There is no greater gift than donating blood. There is no substitute of blood . 

Therefore, the Chief Minister urged everyone to come forward to donate blood.
