JRBT Job Aspirants Stages Protest In Agartala

“A government of choice was elected, but jobless deprivation was unexpected under this government” This is the tone of despair of the unemployed in the state of Tripura.

“The government spent three years recruiting through JRBT. Not yet recruited. Thousands of unemployed are roaming the streets looking for jobs. They are deprived” job aspirants raised this complaint against the government and gathered at the city center, Agartala on Sunday.

“It has been three years since their complaint. Till now Group C and Group D vacancies are not fill up. Every day hundreds of unemployed youth are passing out. But the government has no thought for them. Group C oral examination was conducted on June 6. So far there is no sign of merit list release. Group D does not even have an oral test. On July 13, the Chief Minister told from the holy assembly that suddenly the merit list will be published one day. Today is July 30.  This ‘suddenly’ did not come until now” Said the job aspirants.

The job aspirants demanded the chief minister to release the merit list within the next two days. They also said on this day, Amrit Mohotsav is being celebrated in the entire country on the call of the Prime Minister. But unfortunately the children of this state are unemployed and suffering from deprivation.

Directly addressing the Chief Minister they said, If an unemployed person dies in any unusual way then the chief minister will be responsible for it. The protest continued for a long time on this day.
