Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh Appointed As Chief Justice of Tripura High Court

Senior Justice of Jharkhand High Court Aparesh Kumar Singh has been appoint as the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.

The Union Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a notification in this regard.

Before this, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju had given this information by tweeting.

As per the relevant provisions under the Constitution of India, President of India has appointed Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Judge of Jharkhand High Court as the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court.

Let us tell you that on February 8, the Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the appointment of Jharkhand High Court Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh as the Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court.

He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Jharkhand High Court on 24 January 2012 and was confirmed as a permanent Judge on 16 January 2014. 

He has also served as the Acting Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court from December 20, 2022 to December 19. 

While in the High Court, he heard many important cases and also passed important orders. 

Jharkhand High Court Advocate Association has congratulated Aparesh Kumar Singh for getting the new responsibility.
