He thanked the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi for responding to this proposal of the state government.
Currently there are two Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi. The scale of those buildings is very small. Those two Tripura buildings are not able to handle the needs of the people of the state.
Many people of the state including patients and students are under pressure in the two Tripura Bhavans.
Many people are not getting a shelter even if they are looking for a house for urgent needs. Keeping in mind the growing demand, the state government has set a target of constructing a large-scale Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi.
The place marked in Dwarka near Delhi Airport. It is a twenty minute drive from the airport. Sector Seventeen Metro Station is near to that plot.
The state government wants to take both the plots there for better connectivity. The state government wants to build Tripura Bhavan in one and a half acres of land.
