An incident of direct clash took place in Goala Basti area of Khejur Bagan under NCC Police Station Agartala West Tripura District based on a land dispute.
Aaccording to the report a person named Nagina Prasad Roy succumbs to injuries, death. Four others have been injured.
In protest, common people of Goala Basti area Gheraoed the New Capital Complex police station.
There is widespread tension in the area.
“The accused Ajit, Vijay, Rajesh and several others hits on my father’s head with stick as he protested the making of house by them in our land” said the son of deceased Nagina Prasad Roy.
” When i went to save my father they also hits in my head ” said the son.
After the incident, the accused managed to escape. The family members of the deceased demanded strict punishment of the accused.
