In view of the by-elections , mass rallies were held on Saturday at Dhanpur and Boxanagar Assembly Constituencies in support of party candidate Bindu Debnath and Tafazzal Hussain by BJP.
The rallies has been organized by the initiative of Mahila Morcha (Women wing of BJP).
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present as the main speaker in these rallies.
Addressing the public , Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that:
“The peaceful manner in which the elections of 2023 were completed was unprecedented in the history of Tripura”
“Before that, elections in Tripura state meant murder, terrorism and bomb blasts. By-elections in places like Boxanagar, Dhanpur used to witness chaos. But in view of the upcoming by-elections, no such incident has happened so far”
“This is also an unprecedented incident. If we want to strengthen the country, if we want to strengthen the politics, this is not possible without the Bharatiya Janata Party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to strengthen the country. Since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister in 2014, he has been taking one after another decision for public welfare. The Prime Minister has strengthened the minority mothers and sisters by implementing triple talaq”
“The state government has provided 33 percent reservation for women in government jobs”.
