In the liquor policy case, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was questioned by the CBI in its office for about 9.5 hours.
He reached the agency’s office on Sunday morning at 11.10 am. Kejriwal came out of the agency office at 8.30 pm.
Kejriwal told that I answered all the questions asked by CBI. We don’t have anything to hide. This entire alleged liquor scam is a lie, fake and motivated by dirty politics. AAP is a staunch honest party. We will die but will never compromise with our integrity. They want to destroy AAP but the people of the country are with us. He asked about 56 questions.
AAP MLAs who were protesting against the questioning of Kejriwal were detained by the police. They were released in the night. All came out of Najafgarh police station raising slogans.
Several ministers of the Delhi government, party MPs and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann went to see Kejriwal at the CBI office.
Later these leaders started protesting outside the CBI office itself. After this, many leaders including Raghav Chadha and Sanjay Singh were taken into custody by the police.
On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi convenor Gopal Rai called an emergency meeting in view of CBI’s questioning of Delhi CM Kejriwal. In which party’s National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi and Deputy Mayor Aale Mohammad Iqbal were also present.
AAP leader Raghav Chadha has called Arvind Kejriwal as Lord Krishna and BJP as Kansa.
He said that Kansa knew that Lord Shri Krishna would destroy him and therefore he hatched many conspiracies to harm Shri Krishna. Similarly BJP knows that Aam Aadmi Party will be the cause of its downfall.
Arvind Kejriwal went to Rajghat in the morning before going to CBI office. There he along with Bhagwant Mann paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
Earlier, he released a video, in which he said that when he has not done anything wrong, then what to hide.
Kejriwal said that they (BJP) are very powerful people, they can send anyone to jail, whether they have committed any crime or not. Since yesterday, all the BJP leaders are saying that they will arrest Kejriwal. Perhaps the BJP has also ordered the CBI to arrest.
