Locals Blocked Kanchanpur-Dharmanagar Road Demanding Power, Water
Residents of Shantipur under kanchanpur Subdivision blocked Kanchanpur-Dharmanagar road demanding drinking water and electricity.
Angry public stages protest on Kanchanpur-Dharmanagar road since morning against this.
“There is no electricity during last 24 hours. Even after contacting the electricity department, there was no” said the local residents.
“Drinking water service stopped in Shantipur. But the administration become silent spectator” they said.
“Our demand is immediate restoration of electricity and drinking water services” they added.
Due to the riad blocked vehicles even ambulance were also stuck. Later administrative officials and police reached there and talked with them.
