CPIM in the field ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar called upon the workers and supporters to unite to defeat the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
On Friday , Manik Sarkar has called on all the opposition parties to unite against the BJP.
Notably leftist youth wings DYFI and TYF organized a rally in Agartala demanding “Work in every hand, Drug free society” in the Orient Chowmuhani area of the capital Agartala.
Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Jeetendra Chowdhury and others were present in this rally.
Manik Sarkar speaks against the BJP while speaking in the rally. He called upon the students and youth to unite. He said, 26 opposition parties of the country have united to defeat this evil power BJP. BJP is struggling due to unemployment problem, various scams etc. As a result, he asked to continue this fight against BJP.
Jitendra Choudhury, speaking in the rally , opposed Friday’s bandh called by TIPRA Motha.
He said, this bandh will cause problems for common people. Examinations are in progress in schools at this present time. Puja season for traders. He said that only common people are being harassed by declaring bandh at this time.
Leftist workers supporters and student-youths have come to Paradise Chowmuhani by traveling different routes of the capital.
