In the budget of the financial year 2023-24, funds have been allocated separately for the work of various departments. A review meeting was held by the finance department on Wednesday to find out how much progress has been made in the work of these departments.
The meeting organized in Civil Secretariat , presided over by Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy.
After the meeting, the Finance Minister held a press conference and said that there was a discussion about the work resources that have been kept in the budget so that no money is wasted anywhere, besides the development is not slow.
He said that the work of some departments is going on slowly.
Regarding the DA of government employees, he said that the matter is definitely under the consideration of the government.
The finance minister also said that good revenue has been collected so far.
He expressed hope that the budget deficit will be met.
