The 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was broadcast on Sunday (April 30, 2023).
After which Congress targeted PM Modi and said that his 100th episode started with great fanfare but it was ‘maun ki baat’.
The Congress said it was silent on important issues like China, Adani, rising economic inequality and the wrestlers’ protest.
The Congress has condemned the government through a post on its Twitter handle regarding PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat.
Congress has posted two pictures on its Twitter account. In those pictures, the Congress has sarcastically said that the government is loud in Mann Ki Baat and silent in Jan Ki Baat.
Veteran Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has also called PM Modi’s show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ as ‘Maun Ki Baat’.
Just before the telecast of the programme, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh tweeted, “Today is a special day for Feku Master. The information about the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat is being spread with great fanfare. But there is a matter of silence – China, Adani, rising economic inequality, rising prices of essential commodities, terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, insult to women wrestlers, non-fulfillment of promises made to farmer organizations, so-called double engine government like Karnataka on important issues like corruption in the BJP, thugs having close links with the BJP.
Jairam Ramesh further wrote in his tweet, “IIM Rohtak has done some fabricated studies on the effects of Mann Ki Baat, while the academic qualifications of its director have been questioned by the Ministry of Education itself.”
Notable that the 100th episode of PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was attended by senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including Union Ministers, at various places across the country listening to the Prime Minister’s address.
The BJP was trying its best to connect the 100th episode with the public. The government made many efforts to make it historic. Live screening of the program was also done on various platforms across the country.
